Dog policy

Our dog policy is simple. We welcome any dog, regardless of size, weight, or breed for zero fees or deposits, as long as they are cute, adorable and well-behaved! If you are looking for a dog friendly hotel in Ireland you’ve come to the right place.

Going on holiday is no fun without your favourite pet so the Sneem Hotel is pleased to welcome you to the perfect destination for you and your dog’s vacation. There are terrific walking trails near the hotel that you and your dog will enjoy as well as some beautiful sandy beaches. In cases you may be greeted by the hotels’ own resident pet “Red”, the Irish Red Setter.

The Sneem Hotel has specific Hotel Rooms and self-catering apartments allocated for our dog friendly rooms. To avoid disappointment please reserve a dog friendly room through our reservations department prior to your arrival. The Hotel reserves the right to decline pet stays for rooms that are not prearranged.

Your dog is welcome to stay with you in your hotel room or self-catering apartment as allocated by our front desk team. Dogs are not allowed in any other inside areas of the hotel including the hotel lobby, bar or restaurant. We do advise that you bring your own pet bed or blanket, food & water bowl, and dog food to the hotel. There is no additional charge if you are bringing your dog along, however we do reserve the right to charge in the event of any damage done to the room/apartment.
