Review Guidelines

Reviews are important to us at Dog Furiendly. Not only do they help other dog owners with their travel decisions but they help the businesses to evolve with valuable feedback.

Although we value your contributions, we also want to make sure that Dog Furiendly is a safe and trustworthy travel platform. To help us with this goal, we ask that you abide by the following rules for reviews:

Keep your reviews current: Write about experiences from the past year. Businesses change over time, so keeping reviews recent helps others.

Reviews must be non-commercial: Do not include promotional content or links intended for advertising purposes.

Relevant: Reviews should help other dog owners understand the experience. Include useful details such as treats, water bowls, dog welcome packs, suitability for large dogs, parking, and accessibility.

Please avoid personal opinions on wider social issues such as politics, ethics, or religion.

If reviewing accommodation, only write about your experience after check-in. Reviews based solely on booking or pre-arrival experiences will not be approved.

Content must be Family Friendly: Reviews must not contain profanity or vulgar language. Content that violates terms may be removed or reported.

Personal Information: Do not include sensitive personal data such as financial details, surnames, passwords, or codes.

Unique Content: Reviews must relate directly to the place being reviewed.

Unbiased: Owners or affiliated parties may not review their own or competing businesses.

First-Hand: Only share experiences you personally had. Second-hand information or hearsay is not allowed.

Substantial Character Length: Reviews must be detailed and meaningful. Reviews under 100 characters will not be approved.
