Swithland Wood

Swithland wood is a beautiful forest just a stone's throw away from the Roecliffe Road entrance to Bradgate Park. Part of the ancient Charnwood forest, it contains a huge network of pathways and bridleways to follow, with little streams to paddle in during summer months. It's green, it's quiet and so pretty! You could come here every Sunday for months and still walk different route each time!

There is a small car park, with £1 fee which you need to pop into one of the honesty boxes, and its a two minute drive away from The Badgers Sett, a lovely dog-friendly pub around the corner!
