Magog Down

Magog Down is an awesome place to walk your dog. It has a huge off-lead trail that is completely secure, perfect for those doggos who may not have perfect recall - although if your dog is not obedient it's not recommended to allow them off lead. It's a fantastic place to socialise with your dog, and indeed socialise your dog! There are two large exercise areas for your dogs that are a great place to meet new dogs and people alike and give your pup a great run around. The car park is free at time of publishing due to vandalism of the parking ticket machine, however it is encouraged to donate to the Magog Trust charity, or even better become a "friend" and pay annually to allow you to park for free and also contribute towards the maintenance of this stunning place.

The down is open seven days a week: 8am - 5pm in winter (mid October - mid February) 8am - 6pm in spring (mid February - end March) 8am - 8pm in summer (beginning April - late October)
