Developing Dogs Holidays

There’s no limit on the numbers of dogs we welcome at Developing Dogs Holidays (current record is 11 but we know someone can beat that), and we don’t charge extra for dogs or have rules about where they can and can’t go in the cottages.

Each of our three cottages is designed with dog and human comfort in mind. We provide throws for sofas and beds, and towels to dry them off after a swim in our ponds (in the 8 acres of fields that are available for your exclusive use each day), or if you’ve used the hydrostatic hot and cold outside shower in your garden to wash them down after a walk. Each cottage has a large, properly secure garden with 6ft6in fences, and stands in its own plot so there are no shared fences. Each cottage has direct access to the secure fields, via double gated areas, so no need for leads while you’re here. Barn Owl and Hare have their own enclosed parking areas too so you can drive in, shut the gate, and start your dream holiday.

Our beds are large (superking) and comfortable with fluffy duvets and supportive pillows. Our kitchens are well stocked, with good quality equipment (and sharp knives!). Perfect for you to relax and enjoy the best holiday ever – or so our previous guests tell us.

And the views from the rear of the cottages are spectacular. The big skies of the Fens are sight to behold; and our rural location means no light pollution. Perfect for a bit of star-gazing from your hot tub – we did mention the hot tub, didn’t we?

Despite our rural location, we are just 5 minutes from the historic city of Ely, 20 minutes from Cambridge and an hour’s drive to the wonderful Norfolk beaches. The best of all worlds.
