Grange Barn

One of Europe’s oldest timber-framed buildings, Grange Barn stands as a lasting reminder of the once-powerful Coggeshall Abbey. With oak pillars soaring up to a cathedral-like roof, bearing the weight of centuries, it was saved and restored in the 1980s. This 13th-century building has truly stood the test of time. Dogs are welcome all the way around Grange Barn. There is always a water bowl on hand for our four legged friends, and in the summer they love the cool and shady floors to cool off on! Adjacent to Grange Barn there is a large area of grass, which you are welcome to walk you dog on, and several circular walking routes.
