Maison Talbooth

A LUXURY COUNTRY HOUSE HOTEL IN ESSEX Set back and beyond the gravel driveway, Maison Talbooth is a 4 AA Red Star hotel looking out across Constable’s Countryside and the Dedham Vale.

With only 12 bedrooms, we have the opportunity to make Maison Talbooth a physically distanced hotel when we re-open our doors again; by offering a minimum of three nights it means we significantly cut down on the number of different guests coming to our hotel.

Expect the Maison to have a much more relaxed feel. The team will be there, but in a more discreet way, and of course, the house will be kept spotlessly clean at all times. For the time being, we will not be serving afternoon tea or lunch; this cuts down on outside traffic visiting the hotel. At any one time, the hotel will have a maximum of 24 guests which again underlines the exclusive nature of the property.

We welcome dogs in our hotels and all our locations have outside (mostly heated) and undercover dining. We’ll provide drinking bowls of course. We do charge a supplement for an extra deep clean if you’re staying with your companion.
