Ashbridge Estate

Ashridge Estate is a 5000 acre area of the Chiltern Hills features beech and oak woodlands, commons and chalk downlands. These varying landscapes each support a rich variety of wildlife and plants. The estate offers miles of footpaths and bridleways to explore.

Dogs are welcome on all routes around the estate. It is asked that they are kept on a short lead to protect grazing animals and local wildlife. During some times of the year some areas may allow off lead dogs if kept under close control, please check the lead rules online before you visit. Water bowls are provided near the entrance to the Visitor Centre are five dog bins are located along Monument Drive and around the Visitor Centre.
