Down Hall Hotel and Spa
Set in a beautiful 110-acre estate, this country-house hotel is located on the beautiful Hertfordshire/Essex border. The hotel is dog friendly and features a small number of elegant rooms. The dog fee is £20 per night and includes a water bowl and snacks. You'll also get a map of the grounds including walking routes, poo bags, and a luxurious dog bed. The grounds are extensive and each dog friendly room has double doors leading onto an external area within the grounds. Dogs are allowed to dine with you in the lounges and on the outdoor restaurant terrace. Or if you prefer you can relax in your room whilst you eat. Dogs are not allowed in the Grill Room restaurant or Ibbetsons. Eden Spa isn't dog friendly, but worth visiting if you're bringing someone who can take care of the dogs. It features 4 luxury treatment rooms including a sauna, a steam room and a hydrotherapy pool.
