Natural Surroundings: Gardens

Natural Surroundings is a proud wildflower centre; providing exemplary planting through their selection of dedicated garden rooms which also offer an interesting circular walk for human and hound.

Gardens and grounds extend over 8 acres (3.25 hectares), on the gently sloping ground between a wooded hillside and the River Glaven. It is designed to showcase every aspect of wildlife-friendly gardening - to excite and inspire - and we cultivate a great variety of plants, both from Britain and from further afield. Most visitors take an hour or two to wander around, but you can spend all day at Natural Surroundings, especially in the summer when there is so much to see. Take your time, sit and enjoy the view (with several scenic viewpoints), and soak up the atmosphere of North Norfolk.

Once you're inspired you can pop up to the brilliant shop to find the plants you loved, or just appreciate the tranquil site at their café. For the more adventurous hounds, there are also local walks passing through from the surrounding chalk hill countryside.
