The Harper

“We had such a lovely stay at The Harper. It's a beautiful one Michelin Key hotel tucked away in the North Norfolk countryside, and despite being quite luxurious, it still feels really relaxed when you're visiting with dogs. Our room was absolutely enormous, with a four-poster bed, huge Smart TV and plenty of space for two adults and two pugs. The interiors weren't entirely to our taste and could perhaps do with a little modernising, but the communal areas are beautiful. The staff were exceptional... Some of the best service we've experienced in a hotel and the staff genuinely loved our dogs. Dogs can join you for breakfast and dinner in designated areas, and crucially, they're also allowed to be left alone in your room. The food was the biggest highlight. Breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts we've had, and dinner at Stanley's was incredible. I'd definitely recommend leaving the dogs in the room and trying the fine dining menu. We also loved the spa set-up. You book a slot and get private use of the pool, hot tub and sauna, which made it feel really special. It's not a cheap stay, so I'd personally look for one of their packages that includes dinner. We'd absolutely return!”
