With a cracking countryside location that's primed for walking and exploring, this place makes the perfect dog-friendly hotel. They welcome up to two well-behaved pooches aged one year or older in the dog-friendly rooms with a charge of £20 per dog per night. Dogs will receive a cosy bed, bowl, towel and some lovely treats in the room ready for your arrival.

Aside from kicking back in the cosy hideaway rooms, you are more than welcome to relax with your four-legged friends in the crypt bar, reception and garden or dine together in the downstairs larders (The Hilyard and The Derwent) any time too.

In The Crypt Bar, you'll be warmly welcomed by the sound of gregarious banter, chatter and revelry from the moment you step through the door. As well as a large choice of drinks, you can also enjoy, chefs ‘Bar Bait.’ Otherwise known as Northumberland tapas!
