The Barn

Situated in the heart of the dramatic Teesdale landscape and within walking distance of the stunning High Force Waterfall, this recently converted barn provides spacious accommodation for 6 people

The kitchen/diner with table and chairs, has a double oven, halogen hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge-freezer. There is an automatic washing machine, a tumble drier and an iron and ironing board (washing line available for use at rear of the property).

At one end of the lounge is a dining area with a table and chairs. At the far end of the lounge is an exposed stone wall. There is a coffee table, television, DVD, 3 sofas and wood-burning stove. A selection of board games, books and magazines have been provided.

There are 3 large twin bedded rooms, one of which is a ground floor bedroom (quilts and bedding provided). There is an upstairs bathroom with toilet and a separate shower room and toilet (towels provided). Ample parking and private lawned rear garden.

In an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the cottage provides a peaceful base to explore the North Pennines, Durham City and the castles and historic houses of Teesdale. Further afield Hadrian's Wall, The Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales are all within an hour’s drive.
