Tyne Bank Brewery Tap is ‘Nowt Special’ - by their own description! But - it is definitely what’s inside that counts, with sparkling lights across the ceiling, a working in-house brewery, and the most incredible cheese boards to enjoy with friends! It has very, very quickly became ours and Charlie’s favourite local to sit and relax, especially with the sheer number of events they’ve been hosting in recent months. One we always adore is the dog socials, hosted monthly and like nothing else we’ve ever been to before - helped especially by the amazing food vendors they always have during the socials, usually some of the best food the North East has to offer. The dog socials are a brilliant opportunity for dogs to socialise in a calm and relaxed environment, with many treats on offer, alongside vendors specialised in doggy products.

Just a short bus ride from the bustling Newcastle quayside, and close to the up and coming Ouseburn area, the brewery is a perfect place to sit and relax for a few hours, enjoying the many games on offer, including darts, ping-pong, and an xbox with many retro games. Dogs of all shapes and sizes are always made to feel welcome, with treats and water bowls readily available, and comfy seats for them to chill out next to you on!
