Moonlight Flicks in the Roman Gardens

Have you ever wanted to take you little furry friend to the cinema with you?

Now you can! Chester's new open air cinema called Moonlight Flicks, in the Historic Roman Gardens of Chester.

The event is hosted by Storyhouse, Chester's brand new theatre, library, restaurant and cinema.

Moonlight Flicks

Info for the humans:

There are multiple screenings of various films throughout the summer months. The films start late in the evening to ensure everyone can see the film. We went to see Bohemian Rhapsody, it was brilliant!

The venue is fully licensed to bring along your own alcohol and snacks. You can also pre-order pizza to enjoy throughout the film.

We recommend you take some camping chairs and blankets, you can also rent both of these on the evening.

Info for the dogs:

Humans are given headphones to listen to the film, which leaves the furry companions to enjoy an evening of peace and quiet - occasionally interrupted with the sound of terrible singing.

You can take any well-behaved dog along with you and any home comforts such as a dog bed, blanket, toys, doggy chew etc.

Dogs will get lots of fuss from fellow cinema goers and staff from Storyhouse.

Top tip: Take bug spray.
