The Handbridge
The Handbridge is a picturesque historic pub in the heart of Handbridge, Chester, with a secret hidden beer garden. The Handbridge has a warm atmosphere, with a very inviting environment, the decor is contemporary and comfortable. The outside garden is a real highlight of this pub, a huge space with lighting, plenty of seating, outside huts and log cabin hire for private events.
They offer a variety of local ales and ciders as well as a range of spirits, soft drinks and bottled drinks. They pride themselves on using locally sourced quality ingredients and catering to a variety of dietary requirements.
They are very dog friendly and have a 'Canine Code'-water is provided and free refills, dogs must be kept on their leads and well behaved doggos get treats, as well as plenty of fusses from the friendly staff of course.
The outside area is all dog friendly, just remember to keep your four legged furiend on their lead and pick up any poops.
They are open Monday-Sunday 12-11.

The Handbridge has possibly the best beer garden in Handbridge, its huge, lots of tables, shed boots and the lights are beautiful. It is a little on the pricey side, especially their drinks, but they do have a good range. Their food has always been lovely but again on the pricey side. They have dog bowls and treats available too and are very welcoming to dogs!
