The Pied Bull
Situated within the walls of the historic Roman City of Chester, The Pied Bull hotel offers the perfect location for your next stay in the city. Reputed to be the oldest licensed house in Chester, the pub and hotel dates back to 1155.
Today, the interior continues to reflect its distinctive heritage, still housing an original handmade staircase dating from 1533.
The Bar is open: 11am to 11pm Monday to Thursday 11am to Midnight Friday 10am to Midnight Saturday 10am to 11pm Sunday
At The Pied Bull they serve popular traditional British fayre and speciality dishes. They prepare everything fresh and the team of chefs strive to produce the most delectable homemade dishes. Where possible they purchase local produce, including supporting local independent business right on their street. Their grain from the brewery is even fed to livestock- nothing goes to waste! What’s more, the award-winning Pied Bull ales are an added ingredient to many of their dishes.
Whether you’re after a light bite or a 3-course meal there’s plenty to tempt your appetite.

Location
The Pied Bull, Northgate Street, Chester, UK
The Pied Bull is in the ideal location in town, its also one of the most haunted pubs in Chester! I have never eaten here but been in plenty of times for drinks, good value and friendly staff.
