The White Horse
The White Horse is set in the centre of the Chester Racecourse grounds, complete with roaring log fires for the winter months and an airy open sided conservatory to enjoy the vista across the racecourse and famous city walls for the warmer months.
The outdoor barbecue area and Pirate Ship playground, is perfect for summer evenings and weekends, whether enjoying traditional beers, familiar wines and quirky minerals in the open air or dining and enjoying aromas from our wood burning charcoal grill and stone pizza oven. Children can even make their own pizzas at their table, which are sent straight to the pizza oven.
With nibbles, sandwiches and lighter bites on the menu, daytimes are popular in The White Horse, so too are coffees and catch ups with friends. This daytime menu compliments some hearty pub classics and delicious desserts, some of which are available as part of mid-week offers. A comprehensive child menu includes the option to build a pizza from scratch at the dining table. At weekends, hearty Sunday lunches are served all day, perfect for post dog walking before stretching the legs on the open course.

Been in here a few times now with Inka and the service, food and value has never faltered. They are incredibly dog friendly, so much so Inkas been to a doggie party there! Water bowls and treats are always given to us when we come in and the food is delicious. It has a lovely outside area too and is very spacious inside.
