Okells Garden Centre

Opened in 1981, Okells began growing heather plants and selling to garden centres up and down the country. Over time, we have slowly expanded our offer to an ever changing array of plants, trees, seeds and tools for the aspiring gardener to accomplished grower.

Alongside our garden shop lies our home store, stocking a range of wares sourced locally and internationally. Our cafe has a hearty range of wholesome British classics, and we’re proud to offer creative workshops teaching skills from painting to jewellery making, offering new skills and bringing people together.

The coffee shop serves wholesome British classics alongside home made cakes, loose leaf teas and a full coffee menu. Dogs are allowed throughout the garden centre, gift shop and covered outdoor area of the cafe.
