Vale Royal Abbey Arms
The Vale Royal Abbey Arms is a country pub, based in Oakmere, only a few miles from Delamere Forest. It is now owned by JW Lees and went through a large refurbishment a year ago.
The menu has a wide range of food, made in house and with locally sourced food. Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten Free and Dairy Free meals are available on the menu.
There is a large outside area, plenty of seating and also a children's play area opposite a large open grassed area. Dogs are allowed outside and in the spacious bar area. There are plenty of dog friendly tables, but a good tip is to book ahead to guarantee a dog friendly table. There is a beer keg out front where your dog can 'paw itself a pint' which is a quirky touch.

We visit The Abbey Arms regularly and are never disappointed. Inka always gets a warm welcome, they have water and treats available too. It is only dog friendly at the bar, conservatory area and outside, but that is plenty of room/tables to choose from as the pub itself is large. The food is always tasty and Inka enjoys the attention!
