The Maltings

I recently came back to visit the area since moving down south and this time I came with my new dog. We went for a walk in Sankey Valley Park and if you follow the canal you will eventually come across this pub if you duck off down a little lane. We saw dog bowls outside so we knew it’s a dog friendly place so we sat down at the tables in the outdoor seating area which is nice and sheltered. I went in to order food and drinks and found out dogs are also welcome inside too! This is lovely to know since the weather up North isn’t always the most favourable! My dog got lots of fusses from other customers here too and even got a cheeky bit of food from them and quickly became their new best friend. We’ll definitely return when we return to the area for another visit!
