The Stretton Fox
The Vintage Inn, welcomes every member of the family including your beloved furry companion — after all they’re family too! Dogs are more than welcome inside, complete with a fresh bowl of water. From time to time, they may even have treats available, or doggy beer at the bar to keep your dog occupied. Dogs are only allowed in the bar area, as it’s the most relaxed part of the pub for them to be in. Here you can still enjoy the food menu and a wide variety of tipples to wash it down.

We have visited the Stretton Fox a few times but this was the first time with our dog. At the moment, the restrictions (due to COVID) mean that you can only eat or drink outdoors but the beer garden was a lovely area to sit (and very spacious) so this didn’t bother us at all. The tables all have huge umbrellas so I’m sure if the weather turned, you would still be sheltered. The food was delicious pub classics and whilst there is a reduced menu at the moment, there was still plenty of choice! They were very obliging and gave us a bowl for our dog’s dinner as we had forgotten his. Overall, a brilliant experience as always.
