Cosy En-Suite Room With Views of Lakeland Fells
Guests are welcome to stay in one of the newly renovated Airbnb rooms set within a beautiful converted barn in the Whicham Valley. This peaceful, picturesque location offers rural open views of the Combes, with Silecroft beach just a 5-minute drive away and Black Combe Fell (one of the Lake District's famous Wainwright's) within walking distance.
The Airbnb has a separate entrance to the main barn and consists of two private newly renovated en-suite bedrooms.
Fell View
A beautiful spacious room with views of Black Combe Fell from the window, a king-size bed with a luxury Hypnos mattress, and a kettle and toaster so guests can enjoy a morning coffee and soak up the views from their room before they head out on their adventures.
Guest access
The barn is set within large, enclosed gardens. The owners are dog-friendly, so guests are welcome to bring their dog along for an adventure (up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome). Please note that the owners have two super friendly dogs of their own that are occasionally out in the garden.
Other things to note
The TV does not have Freeview channels but does work through Wi-Fi to watch programmes through Netflix, Prime, BBC iPlayer, etc. Due to the location of the barn, the Wi-Fi is run through a satellite dish and therefore can be temperamental depending on the weather. The owners apologise in advance if this causes any disruption during guests' stay. The barn is located at the bottom of a half-mile farm track, which is a bit bumpy. Guests are asked to drive slowly. Guests will not have access to the main barn. The Airbnb has a separate entrance door that leads to the two Airbnb rooms, both of which have their own locks to ensure the safety of guests' personal belongings.
