The Talbot Bar is a great place to stop after exploring Ambleside. The staff are super friendly and love to meet your pooches. They serve a great selection of food and drinks so there is sure to be something for everyone. They may even have a treat or two for your fur-iend

Head to the Talbot Bar, the food is standard pub fare at average prices but I think the furiendliness makes it stand out - they have a dog menu! Dogs are very welcome and it's in a fantastic area, there's a car park but it's on the route of lots of popular Lake District walks so we often prefer to visit mid walk. I haven't stayed at the hotel, so can't comment on the accomodation - but have enjoyed dog friendly meals in the Talbot Bar.
