Hodge Close walk
This manageable 3 mile, low-level walk provides great views of the Langdale Pikes and surrounding fells, along with an insight into the historical industrial past of the area. It's a lovely walk - although take care with your dogs around the quarry as there are some steep drops! The website has full details of the walk including downloable/printable maps and instructions.

Hodge Close is a really nice easy to follow walk with really lovely Lake District views and plenty to see, the downside is that it can get a little busy at times as it's in a really popular area - but if this doesn't bother you it's a good choice. The lane to drive down to park is pretty narrow, so no good for drivers who are bothered by single track lanes.
There are loads of quieter walks if that's what you prefer!
