Located near Keswick on the Derwent Water the Keswick Launch Company offer boat rides around the lake for adults, children and dogs.

You can enjoy a 50 minute cruise around the Derwent Water or you can stop off at one of the several lakeshore jetties and enjoy a woodland walk, explore the pebble beaches or access one of the famous northern fells such as Catbells.

Cruising the lake is gorgeous but this boat is also a fantastic way to get to Catbells without having to battle for parking - makes the whole thing more relaxing. Also stops off at loads of other fantastic walks so you can have a fab day out without needing the car! Highly recommend but remember to take a coat as it’s often surprisingly chilly on the lake.
