The Wheatsheaf Inn is a favourite stop for dog walkers, with plenty of walking routes nearby this delightful pub is a great place to stop, Not only will they provide some water and treats for your dog they have a great selection of food and drink to treat yourselves too.

We stayed here in September 2020 and also ate breakfast and dinner here during our stay. The pub staff were very friendly to Barney and gave him water and treats. All rooms above the pub are dog friendly, with an additional charge of £10 per stay (which is a bargain compared to most hotels we've looked at, where they charge that per night). We loved it so much we're going back in November!
