“We had such a lovely time on the Liverpool Explorer Beetle Bus, and it was brilliant to be able to bring our dog along too. Booking online was really easy, and there was no additional charge for our dog. The staff at the kiosk were really friendly and welcoming, and our dog was greeted with a lovely fuss before we boarded. A little tip if you’re bringing your dog: take a blanket! Ours settled down almost immediately and actually slept for most of the journey, which meant we were able to really enjoy the experience. She was also able to get off with us at the three stops we chose. We visited Penny Lane, Strawberry Field and Paul McCartney’s childhood home, while also seeing so many of Liverpool’s iconic Beatles landmarks along the route, including John Lennon’s childhood home and the area around Ringo Starr’s former home. The guide was really informative but also genuinely funny, which felt very Liverpool, there’s a lovely sense of humour throughout the tour that made it even more enjoyable. If your dog enjoys travelling, I’d definitely recommend it as a dog-friendly way to see some of Liverpool’s most iconic sights. 🐾”
