Ashdown Forest - Gills Lap Pooh Walk
Starting from the Gills Lap car park, take one of two walks and enjoy several of the key locations from the classic Winnie the Pooh stories, including: The Heffalump Trap, Eeyores Gloomy Place and the 100 Aker wood.

There is one busy road to cross if choosing the longer of the two routes, and care needs to be taken in April-Sept when the land is used for grazing. We added a little more distance by having a bit of an explore in the "100 acre woods".
Whilst st we were very lucky with the weather and it was dry underfoot, speaking to other dog walkers, the heathland can get very muddy.
