We came across the Mesmerist on a trip down to Brighton in December 2019 to attend a Christmas Dachshund Cafe event. We had hoped to go for a nice long walk on the beach after our event but the weather had other plans as it was torrential rain and gale force winds! We stumbled across the Mesmerist and received a very warm welcome. We got a nice high table in the window so the humans could dry their wet coats on a nearby radiator and my carrier bag got prime location on the window sill! The pawrents ordered some drinks and bar snacks including a platter of cheese! You have to order at the bar but they bring it to your table. I must say I managed to sneak a taste of the cheese platter and it was delicious!
