Image

The Alver Valley Country Park is nestled between Gosport and Lee-On-The-Solent. It is a 200 hectare space with plenty to see and do. There is parking at both the East and the West side of the valley chargeable between 10:00-18:00. At The East side there is a BMX Track & park and the West houses a large playground, toilets & cafe. It is a great dog walking space with open fields, woodland areas and rivers. Lots of routes to follow and a great place to socialise your dogs.

Alver valley is a lovely open space! Such a large country park to walk around and lots of different areas to discover. It is nice that the car park doesn't charge until 10am so you can get your morning walk in for free, because of this it does get quite busy with dog walkers and cyclists but it is a great social walk. The apple dumpling bridge is a popular place to stop and feed the ducks but it is prone to flooding so if it has been raining take your wellies!
