Living not too far away we've often used this shop for little things such as getting an inner tube to having a pannier fitted on the back and getting new brakes installed. They sell new and secondhand bikes to fit all budgets and riders as well as a wide variety of equipment and offering a repair service. Often I've had repairs done while I wait if it's not too busy, they have a sofa for you to sit on and dogs are welcome everywhere in the store. It's quite spacious except for around the cycles of course so perhaps not too good for the bigger dogs if you're looking at bikes themselves. They sell a couple of dog baskets and will also fit them for you too.
