The Cormorant
The Cormorant Pub & Restaurant, Portchester Michael & Debra Hardy and their team welcome you to The Cormorant in Portchester’s Historic Castle Street, a conservation area in the Borough of Fareham, in the shadows of Portchester Castle. We hope you enjoy your experience in our traditional British Pub. We would be delighted to receive any comments, good or constructive, in order that we may build upon and improve our business.
Our Suppliers We are proud to be able to support local business and we source the majority of our ingredients and products from suppliers within a twenty mile radius of Portchester.
Our Fresh British Meat & Fish – MR Starr Butchers M R Starr’s of Emsworth are a traditional family run butchers in the High Street in Emsworth. Run by Mick Starr and his wife Lou, they are assisted by their two sons Paul & Neil along with Peter and Roger. They are not only superb butchers and fishmongers but have quality and customer satisfaction at the core of their business just as we do.
Our Fresh Seasonal Vegetables – The Fruit Basket The Fruit Basket is again a family run business. Gary and his team pride themselves on sourcing locally grown fruit and vegetables – sometimes delivering to us on the day the produce has been picked!
Real Ales Why not try a real beer to go with your food. Don’t be shy in asking for a sample to try. We always keep a good range, as well as regularly introducing “guest” ales.
