Dogs are allowed everywhere in the pub on lead. James and Nicky Haigh welcome you to The George Inn. An old-fashioned village pub dating back to the sixteenth century with fireplaces, oak beams and an attractive beer garden. We have an excellent reputation for our warm welcome, freshly-cooked, quality food and our real ale. Children and dogs are welcome. We are located in an area of Outstanding Beauty with beautiful countryside, wonderful walks and a pretty village. There are many footpaths, bridleways and mountain biking routes from the village including a route up to an ancient hillfort at Fosbury.
