Baba Souks

Baba Souks is an extremely dog-friendly, relaxed restaurant. Our server couldn't have been more accommodating to our dog, Caramel, asking us lots of questions about her and then telling us about her own dog. We sat at the long table at the front of the restaurant where there was a long rug for Caramel to relax on after our walk at nearby London Fields park. London Fields is a great place for a dog walk, especially if your dog enjoys other dogs company because it is full of dogs to play with at the weekends.

We weren't offered water for Caramel on this occasion but I have no doubt that if you asked for water for the dog they would happily accommodate! Dogs are allowed both inside and outside (limited seating outside the restaurant). 

Baba Souks is a relaxed, informal dining option that is great for weekend brunches with friends, family and dogs! They specialise in mezze plates of the mediterranean variety. They are also very accommodating for vegans, vegetarians and coeliacs with plenty of options to suit your dietary preference. 

We visited on a Sunday lunch-time and had the special 'Baba Brunch' platter which is only served on the weekends. I thoroughly recommend visiting on the weekend just to experience this platter, it is truly amazing! We had the standard Baba Brunch platter but they also do a Vegan version. 

If you have room for dessert then you must try the Gluten Free Tahini Brownie - the best brownie I have ever tasted! It was deliciously moist and rich.

They have an extensive range of tea and coffee to choose from. All teas come in Moroccan style teapots which you can pour yourself and the tea is all loose leaf which is another nice touch. They even cater for any matcha oat-milk latte drinkers!

Whatever your preference, Baba Souks do their best to provide you with your best experience and really do go the extra mile for food and drink choices. 

Baba Souks is reasonably priced, relaxed and we didn't feel rushed out or judged for having a dog with us. We are already planning our next trip because we love it so much!
