Moo Canoes

What a day out in London! Cannot recommend this experience enough for you & your pup!

Moo Canoes has canoes & kayaks for hire in East London where you can paddle around the canals. With two drop in & out zones in Limehouse and Hackney Wick - you can have a leisure day exploring the canals while stopping off for some tasty food and drink in Hackney Wick.

Dogs are allowed in the boats (!!), however you'll need to bring your own doggy lifejacket on board. Ipa fit snuggly in the front of the kayak and had the best time watching the ducks, geese & swans. She fell in the water once & was delighted for her shot stint swimming next to the boat.

If you take the full loop, you'll need to pull the kayak out of the water a few times (it's heavy). However they do have alternate routes. Definitely recommend the longer the rent the better... We're counting down the days until we can do it again :)

Moo Canoes was created in 2012 to make London's waterways more fun for everyone. The directors met on the River Thames and through Moo Canoes have introduced over 20,000 people to paddlesport in central London.

​We can't take any credit for the amazing waterways on offer, but we'll certainly help you make the moost of them!

We work with Thames 21, Poplar Union and The Canal and River Trust, using the fleet to enhance and protect the waterways. We've also helped found two community action groups, The Lower Regent's Coalition and Friends of the Cut - there are regular friendly events and both welcome new volunteers.

Our second hub, The Milk Float, was launched in Hackney Wick in 2014. The home of our fleet of canoes, she is also a floating bar & cafe.
