We came to Battersea Park as part of my 1st birthday celebrations. The humans parked in the main Albert gate car park, £2.70 for up to 3 hours parking at the weekend (9-5pm) which was pretty decent rate for London parking!

We had plans to eat in one of the dog friendly restaurants at Battersea power station which was about a 20 minute direct walk through the the park from the car park.

After our meal we took a more leisurely stroll and explored the park a bit more before we head back to the car, there is lots of different areas to see!

Do note, there are several different levels of dog control within the park which are signposted and a map of the restrictions is also available on the parks website . As this was our first time visiting the humans kept me on the lead as they found this this easier than having to keep calling me back if we went into a different area of the park where the restrictions changed and also to keep out of way of the many cyclists as there is the London Recumbent bike hire service which seemed to be very popular. Also unfortunately the children's zoo here is not dog friendly.

Overall the park and its gardens were very pretty, the humans loved watching all the different birds around by the lake and we will definitely be back :)
