The Hedgerow

We love this charming, quaint place in a secluded patch in Wainhill, Oxfordshire. This wonderful place is a country hiker’s dream, just a bones throw away from the Ridgeway National Trail. This means plenty of adventures in store for our furry pals.

Speaking of which, dogs are more than welcome to join you in this ultra-cosy timber house. For your pooch, there's a bed, dog bowl and even some homemade treats! The lodge also has a fenced garden which is perfect for the whole family to enjoy on warm evenings.

The snuggly cabin is the perfect place for two humans, with spacious windows looking out over the Ridgeway trail itself. It contains a fully functional kitchen, and, in the Summer months, guests can help themselves to homegrown lettuce, tomatoes, radish and cucumber.

That's not forgetting the exclusive use of “Alice” a 1950’s vintage English Eccles Caravan, offering another comfy, quirky place to spend some time.

While these places are marked as dog friendly on Cool Stays, please let the owner know when you are bringing a pooch. Before booking, double-check the limit on the number of dogs and whether or not there’s a small fee per dog - this is usually listed in the property notes, but it’s always best to confirm.
