Museum of Power
The Museum of Power holds a variety of things with one of the main attractions being, probably the only Lilleshall triple expansion steam pumping engine still in situ in the world! There are also a huge number of other engines in and around the Museum a belt-driven workshop and many interactive displays. Many events, workshops and child-friendly activities are also held here. The Museum is completely dog friendly, your furry friend (or friends) are welcome in the Museum itself and it's grounds. We welcome all dogs, it's great for individuals and families to be able to bring in their four-legged friends instead of having to leave them tied up outside. It means everyone can walk around and enjoy the exhibits. Then if your dog wants a longer walk there is plenty to see out on the grounds, we have Bluebell woods, our outdoor seating area and the Museum's field. The field is a great place for having a run around (for the dog and yourself if you like!). We have water bowls outside a few of our doorways and if all the running around has made you hungry you're free to come into the Tea Room. We frequently have walkers exploring the trails with their furry friends near the Museum come into the Tea Room with them for some refreshments. It's a great day out with things to do for the whole family!
