The Merry Harriers
Full of character and life, our family and dog friendly inn offers excellent food, award-winning local ales and wines, a lovely garden, first rate accommodation and an element of the unexpected with our llama treks.
The Merry Harriers is a natural stopover for walkers, cyclists and dog owners and the perfect destination for an enjoyable meal with friends or a relaxing stay in one of our beautifully designed garden rooms, Inn rooms or our brand new to 2019 Shepherd’s Huts; a perfectly quirky twist on the glamping craze, a modernized alternative to the classic yurt.
Owned by local residents Peter and Lana de Savary, since May 2017, and managed and run by Jake Andreou, and House Dog Jake, we look forward to welcoming you and sharing the charm and comfort of this historic English inn.

Nestled in the Surrey Hills and close to a number of local attractions, the Merry Harriers is the pawfect spot for a Dog-Friendly getaway.
We stayed in a garden Room, which was kitted out with a dog bed and bowl on arrival.
There are plenty of beautiful walks surrounding the inn, with gorgeous scenery. When you're ready you can refuel at the pub, with a restaurant that boasts delicious local produce and even a "dog's dinner", which my pup Kurtis took advantage of! The staff are so lovely and attentive, going out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as they can, and will make a fuss of your furry friend!
We had a wonderful stay, and were reluctant to leave, can't wait to head back soon!
