Great Western Hotel

The Great Western is a friendly and informal Inn in the heart of Newquay. With an abundance of sandy beaches, great nightlife and family-friendly location. Located just a short walk from the Great Western Beach, this wonderful place makes the idyllic hound hideaway for you and your pooch.

Dog friendly rooms are available equipped with doggy bags, water bowl, treats and a dog bed (perfect for resting those sandy paws in!) Maximum of 2 well-behaved dogs, per room. To ensure the correct room is allocated please call ahead of your stay. Dogs are charged an additional £10 per dog, per night.

Your dog is also welcome to join you in the bar and outside spaces. The open plan bar and restaurant offers the perfect place to eat with friends or family. Enjoy al fresco dining on the garden terrace overlooking the sea, with locally sourced, quality food and award-winning Cornish ales. Sunday lunch always goes down a treat but be sure to book in advance!

Start the day with a stroll to the beach and finish the day in the perfect place to eat, watching the sensational sunset with a cold glass of wine on the sea view terrace of the restaurant. There is entertainment in the bar between 7pm and 10pm every Friday evening.

For the kids there is table football, a pool table and a wonderful play area where they can go and let off steam.
