Port Eliot House and Gardens

Port Eliot Estate is located within the beautiful Cornish countryside and is known as one of the most romantic stately homes within Britain.

This estate is steeped in history and each area has a story to tell regarding the family that have occupied this home for hundreds of years (Saint Germans). The house is a Grade 1 listed building and houses numerous works of art and unusual, beautiful furnishings that have been passed down through the family generations. Due to all this, dogs are not permitted inside of the house.

But while you take it in turns to explore the inside, their a huge gardens to explore or stop for a drink to enjoy the views! Dogs usually have to be kept on a lead, but Wednesdays they can run free around the gardens (all mess to be cleaned up).

Port Eliot is only open during certain times of the year, so check the website prior to visiting.
