The golden lion is a beautiful, dog-friendly 18th century pub full of original character and charm. Set overlooking the Cornish sea in the idyllic fishing village of Port Isaac, the outdoor terraces have a fantastic view of the harbour and cliffs beyond.

Home of the ‘Bloody Bones Bar’ which boasts a smuggling tunnel leading down onto a causeway on the beach, the pub has a rich seafaring history for guests to unravel as they while away the hours with a cask ale in front of the open fires.

Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant upstairs but they can join you for a meal in the bar area.
