The Crown Inn - St Ewes
The crown inn is a 16th century inn set in the picturesque village of St Ewe. They have an extensive menu and specialise in good home cooked pub food using fresh local produce, in particular, game and seafood. Sit beside one of the two log fires in winter or enjoy the large beer garden in summer. They offer a choice of cask ales and fine wines.
At lunch time they have a varied menu available serving snacks such as paninis, baked potatoes, homemade soup, fresh fish and meat dishes and various other pub favourites with a specials board. The evening menu consists of homemade pie, a selection of fresh fish and meat dishes and various other pub favourites with a specials board. They have a smaller appetite menu available for children, the elderly or those with a smaller appetite. They have homemade desserts available such as apple crumble, toffee cheesecake, bread and butter pudding etc. The Sunday roast for lunch is a must and is very popular.
They also have offer Fish and chip frydays which you can eat in or take away. Seniors lunches are every friday 12-2pm. Disabled access is available. St Austell brewery cask ales are available such as Tribute, Proper Job and Dartmoor. They also have a good selection of red and white wines available.
