Northam Burrows Country Park

This is a beautiful coastal walk that can be enjoyed by all. You get the best of everything with sand dunes, the beach, grassland and woodland. The beach is dog friendly all year round and you can reach it at most points along the path.

There is a 'dogs on leads by direction' policy that means while you're along the path you must be careful as there is a golf course and livestock. While you don't have to keep them on a lead but must make sure they do not disturb the wildlife or the golfers. The beach is free-reign so you can let your furry friend run around as much as they like.

This walk is great in all types of weather. Make sure to keep fresh water with you at all times.

There is a sizeable car park which is free to use and a small visitors centre with toilets although this is not open all year round so do check the website for details.
