The Lynton & Lynmouth Cliff Railway
5.0
·
1 review
The world's highest and steepest water powered railway connecting Lynton, at the cliff top, to Lynmouth. There is a cafe at the top with stunning views. A true piece of engineering history. Adults are £3.30 per trip, children £2.20 and dogs £1 (depending on size). Open from 10 daily but hours vary with seasons.

“
What a brilliant experience! Lynton and Lynmouth are both stunning in their own right. The Cliff Railway is an absolutely unique experience that is a must do. We were lucky with the timings and had a carriage to ourselves. Incredible piece of engineering, history and lovely way to travel. We really enjoyed our trip here and feel it's a must do if visiting.
