We visited James and White in the centre of Christchurch - just round the corner from it's namesake, which is ideal for a post-dinner walk around the church yard and down to the quayside. We had to park in one of the town centre carparks which was about a 5 minute walk from the restaurant. They offer both indoors and outdoor dining options. The style is rustic wooden tables and chairs. We were sat at a small table for 2, so Pepper had to stay in her bag under the table. We saw a few other doggos sat around the restaurant during our trip. The menu offers the option of small plates as well as some main-meals. We decided to try a selection of small plates which were all delicious- with a highlight being the cheese fondue laced with Black cow vodka. Pepperoni was very upset that for this reason she wasn't allow to try some! Water was offered for humans, but not the dog.
