The Swan Hotel, Bibury

Set on landscaped gardens with the River Coln running through, this upscale hotel in a 17th-century coaching inn boasts the most glorious surroundings.

The individually decorated rooms (many with river views) feature modern country-style furnishings, as well as bathrooms with designer toiletries, plus flat-screen TVs, and tea and coffee making facilities. Family rooms are available (sleeping up to 4 guests), plus on-site cottage suites with sitting rooms.

Dogs are welcome to stay overnight with a selection of specially allocated rooms to sleep you and pooch comfortably during your stay. A small paw print charge of £20 per night will be added to your booking (plus £10 for any additional dogs).

If you’d like some private outdoor space for your pooch to roam free, the gorgeous garden cottage suites are perfect!

Dogs are welcome to dine with you in the bar, lounge and garden. They are unfortunately not permitted in the Swan Brasserie. There's complimentary full English breakfast, plus a bar and a relaxed brasserie. Guests can also fish on the river.
