The Bear of Rodborough
The Bear of Rodborough is located in 300-acres of National Trust land on Rodborough Common just outside Stroud - with loads of walks on the doorstep. Just be careful cowpats as there are cattle roaming free over the common. The Bear is a 17th-century coaching inn with 9 comfy dog friendly rooms to rest those sleepy paws. The rooms have a dog bed, blanket and bowls, and will take up to 2 dogs per room. A small paw-print charge of £20 per night will apply to cover additional cleaning required (plus £10 for any additional dogs). For dinner, doggies join you in the bar area which has a few different rooms and will be provided with water and treats. Breakfast with doggies is in one of the rooms and they each get their own plate with a sausage! A great location for exploring the Cotswolds.
