Lake View at Swallowfield Glamping

Swallow Field Glamping site is situated in the heart of the countryside amongst the rolling hills and wooded valleys. This perfect shepherd's hut getaway with shared amenities is positioned alongside the lake with stunning views. Guests can take a chance to relax and listen to the peaceful sound of birdsong in their own private garden. Dogs are also welcome (maximum of 2)! This shepherd's hut has no toilet, but the shared toilet block and shower cubicle is a very short walk away.

The space:

This shepherd's hut is bigger than a standard shepherd's hut. The space has an extended summer building on the side where the seating area is located. It also has double opening doors which open out onto the guest's own private garden, BBQ table and disposable BBQ. In the shepherd's hut itself there is a kitchen, dining table, and double bed with everything guests will need. With no Wi-Fi or TV, this is the perfect space to unwind and get away from the stress of busy life to help recharge.

There are 2 pubs both serving excellent food around 2 miles away - the Winyards Gapp is a 5 minute drive and the Fox Inn is an 8 minute drive. The local village shop is also around 2.5 miles away (7 minute drive). Halstock is a great place to explore on foot with many footpaths for guests and their dogs to enjoy. Bracketts Coppice is recommended, which has 100 acres of ancient woodland with beautiful meadows and streams that is looked after by the Dorset Wildlife Trust.

Guest access:

There is a car park space right next to the shepherd's hut with easy access. Guests will have their own private garden and BBQ (disposable).
